When is the Media Center open?

Monday-Friday 7:00am-2:00pm. On early dismissal days or days when school opens late, the Media Center will only be open during school hours.

How do I check out items from the Media Center?

Bring your items and your student ID to the circulation desk in the Media Center. Don't have your ID? It's ok. We can look you up by photo! Once ID badges have been , you MUST have your ID badge or a slip of paper with your name/ID for quick processing.

How many items can I check out at a time?

 

Students may check out up to 3 items. Only 1 item can be a digital item (video or audio).  However, during certain class projects, fewer items may be permitted so that more students can use materials for assigned topics. A member of the Media Center staff, a faculty member, or a library volunteer will alert you to those times.

How long can I keep the books I check out?

Most books can be checked out for two weeks, and renewed once for only one additional week. If there is a different loan period, a Media Center staff member will let you know or you can look on your Limitless Libraries account for this information.

How do I renew a book?

Renewals can work just like a check-out, so you can take it to the circulation desk to "check out," OR you can do it yourself in Limitless Libraries. Sign in to your account and click the RENEW button next to the item. Easy Peasy

Where do I return items?

Place books in the book-return slot on the front of the circulation desk or at any MNPS school library or Nashville Public Library branch.

How do I reserve a book?

Look up the item you would like in Limitless Libraries, and then PLACE A HOLD on the item online. It will ask for you to sign in. Your account number is your student ID, and your PIN is your birthdate (mmdd).
